Scientific Proof for the Existence of Allah — Science & Islam
Science by definition is the study of nature. Without the existence of nature, there wouldn’t be any science. So the existence of science itself is the proof of Allah’s existence, since someone, who is above it all, had to create it. Had there been no Allah, there had been no universe, no nature, no life, and as a result no science either.
However Allah Himself is not a physical entity that can be proven by scientific tools. The world of spirituality is a different world. In the world of spirituality, you get proofs via spiritual tools. Prayer is one tool, which gets accepted if you do them sincerely and proves that there is someone listening to them.
Increasing in spirituality gives you further signs and interactive relationship with Allah Almighty. True prophecies of the future made by the prophets of Allah is another proof that there exists someone who knows the future. In short, proof of Allah’s existence requires spiritual methods, not scientific.
While some may use science to encourage doubt in Allah, scientific theories and Allah's existence are what modern science accepts it now? Allah (SWT) urges us to explore His signals, to research the world.
Similarly, the Holy Quran gives the clear evidence in chapter number three and verse number 189 that in the development of earth and heaven, the changing of night and day is a clear indication for the believers.
In the natural world, a Scientific theory is a firmly accepted interpretation of something. Here are some scientific discoveries which support the presence of Allah:
The Big Bang Theory as well as the Law of Cause and Effect
The Law of Cause and Effect specifies that “for any material effect that we are seeing, there was still a cause that arose before or was parallel to it, but that is larger than it.
The origin of the Big Bang cannot really be explained by science. What caused the big blast, which started universe formation? Since-result has a cause, both the Big Bang Theory and the Law of Cause and Effect reflect the assertion that the universe has a founder.
All Him, the creator of heaven and earth, is devotedly faithful. When He decrees a matter, He only tells it, Be and it is.
Night and day, this is all I say, that this universe does have a God.’
The Holy Qur’an presents the universe as evidence for the existence of God. It says:
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your tongues and colors. In that surely are Signs for those who possess knowledge. (Ch.30: V23)
These verses of the Holy Qur’an clearly indicate that the study of the creation of the heavens and the earth leads to Almighty God. Seeking God’s help, I now present some aspects of science and views of scientists on this topic.
Facts about the Law of Entropy
The Entropy Law states that everything degenerates into chaos and disorder unless a higher force governs the mechanism. Dr. Lawrence Brown, a scholar who returns to Islam, states that it doesn’t matter if one is talking about a bedroom for one’s boy, a kitchen sink, or a complex chemical reaction.
Even inside a tiny cell, science cannot describe the special order, nature, and structure found in the universe. Where did this system come from and the layout? They were coming from a Greater Force.
It is stated in chapter second and verse number one sixty-four that indeed, in the forming of the heavens and the earth, and even in the night’s variation and the day.
Similarly, the [great] ships sailing via the sea, with something that benefits men, and that which Allah has already sent down from the heavens of rain, thus giving life to the earth just after lifelessness? It is further dispersing every [some] moving thing and directing controversy over winds and clouds.
Facts about the Law of Biogenesis
The Biogenesis Law notes that living organisms can originate only from other living creatures. A Living Source needs to have brought life to Earth. Non-living molecules that existed on this planet before life started can’t carry life.
